Governance

The school is a non-profit Norwegian foundation governed by a 9-member Board of Trustees.

Head of School/Director

Dr. Linda Duevel (Lduevel@isstavanger.no) has been an employee of the school since 1975 and director since 1996.

Student Population (2009-2010 academic year)

700 students from the age of three to nineteen years old

School Hours

Classes meet from 08.30-15.15 Monday through Friday from mid-August until mid-June.

Curriculum

ISS offers an international university prep curriculum that combines the best features of both the European and North American systems.

Students at the International School represent some 44 countries.

Year Founded

1966 - (The school opened in 1966 in local Norwegian school classrooms and moved to purpose-built facilities at the Revheim campus in 1982.)
