ISS Poetry Festival 2009
 

Step up to the ISS Poetry Festival 2009!

This year you are going to be reading poetry out loud and hearing it read, performing it and watching it being performed.  Already we have been lucky enough to enjoy Taylor Mali’s visit to the school, and for the rest of the school year we are going to be following in his footsteps, which will invariably lead us to a live microphone.  That live mic will either be sitting quietly on your desk in your bedroom or standing expectantly on a stage in front of a room full of people.

Be sure to check out the rules of this year’s ISS MP3 Poetry Competition, remember the open mic session every Friday in the cafeteria, and get involved with everything that’s going on.
